You will need to drive to the entrance of Latteragh Forest
Drive out towards Nenagh on the R498
After the bends of Latteragh take a right and drive up towards Latteragh
Note the forestry on the right hand side
Take the second right after Forestry starts and park up
Drive out towards Nenagh on the R498

Take the second right after Forestry starts and park up
Park up
Head through the road with the two big pillars
Keep to the LEFT
There should be excellent views over the countyside to your LEFT after 20mins of steep walk
Continue up the forest road until you come to a junction
There are some excellent views in area where the trees have been removed
Continue up the forest hill road
At the next junction take a short LEFT
Continue down this forest road keeping LEFT of any junctions
CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE COMPLETED the LATTERAGH FOREST SHORT LOOP – 6.3km in total !!
As you exit the forest, you will arrive back at the entrance with 2 stone pilars on your LEFT
