Excellent views .Superb views on both sides of the road. .Road is fairly straight for long stretches.

Head out Templmore Road from BorrisoleighBurkes Castle will be visible on right hand side
At first junction  take a left , then an immediate right 
Then take an immediate right  (out towards Barnane)
At the top of this road, take the first road on the LEFT
Follow this road up the hill
Excellent views of Devils Bit and surrounding countryside
Continue on up the hill .. it is a  long but gradual incline
Further up this road , there are more excellent views of Tower Hill
At the top of the hill  on your Right hand side  is the remains of GARRANGRENA OLD SCHOOL

Just after the momument to the old school ,  keep going straight

Continuing on, there are even more impressive views on the Right side of the road
At the next junction  ( Junction of Glenarisk )  , go straight ahead
Continue through this junction and up this final hill on the walk
Later along this road you should pass entrance to the historic  Glenkeen Cemetery   on your left
Continue on down this road.
At the next junction head straight.
Continue along this road until you meet the main Borrisoleigh Nenagh Road.
Cross the road and head left
There is a picnic seating area on the far side of this main road.
It is best to cross the main road here as there is a footpath back  on  right side of the road into Borrisoleigh
One you reach the church in Borrisoleigh you will have completed the LOOP
CONGRATULATIONS  YOU HAVE COMPLETED the    GARRANGRENA LOOP – 14.5km in total  !!
