Return route takes about 2.2hr and is 11km long
Head out Templemore Road from Borrisoleigh
Burkes Castle will be visible on right hand side

At first junction take a left , then an immediate right
Continue up this road until you read next junction, then head straight
The mountain directly in front of you is the Devils Bit
At the next junction , take a RIGHT towards Kilfitmone
At the next junction , take a RIGHT towards Kilfitmone
You have now arrived at the junction of Kilfitmone
To the LEFT is Kilfitmone ChurchAt the junction of the main road with Templemore, head straight across the main road

At the next junction head straight
Take LEFT at next junction into the village of DROM
At the next junction take a LEFT out of DROM Village
You have now arrived in DROM village , about 25% through the walkSt, Marys Church is in the centre of the village

At the next small junction at other side of village turn LEFT
At the next junction turn RIGHT

At the next junction take a LEFT,
This is a fairly straight road, if a little busy. but will lead you to outskirts of Templemore
At the end of this road , take a LEFT and head towards centre of Templemore.
Follow the N62 until you reach the main Borrisoleigh Templemore road, then take a RIGHT and head into centre of Templemore
Plenty to do and see in Templemore.
From the local Park who entrace is beside the Templemore Arms Hotel to Sacred Heart RC Church
There are numerous cafes and restaurants on the square.

The journey back to Borrisoleigh will be a little shorter 11km 2hr 15minFor the return journey, you will head straight out the TEMPLEMORE BORRISOLEIGH Road
Turning to the LEFT off the main road
This is quiet a busy part of the route traffic wise, and the grass verge is not totally even so exercise caution until your leave it further up the road
On the left side as you walk out you will see Sandymount Castle
At the junction , take the LEFT road
Walk down this road towards DROM

At the next junction take a RIGHT
Continue on to DROM village and take a LEFT on entering DROM village
Pass the hurling pitch on the left and the local school on the right
Take the first LEFT at the end of the village signposted towards the OLD INCH Graveyard

Pass by OLD INCH cemetery on your left hand side
Continue down this road , until you come back into Kilfitmone, then turn right
Head with care, straight across the main Templemore road
At the next junction , take a LEFT
At the next junction Head Straight
At the next Junction veer LEFT until you meet the main road, then follow sign back into Borrisoleigh
